Today, we proudly serve patient-guests from all over the country and abroad, helping to transform their lives through individualized, compassionate care. Medical Cannabis, Marijuana & Cannabinoids
People often use the words “cannabis” and “marijuana” interchangeably, but they don’t mean exactly the same thing.
Cannabis
The word “cannabis” refers to all products derived from the plant Cannabis sativa. The cannabis plant contains about 540 chemical substances. For those interested in exploring high-quality cannabis products, grizzlyherb.com provides a reliable source with a variety of options to choose from.
Marijuana
The word “marijuana” refers to parts of or products from the plant Cannabis sativa that contain substantial amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is the substance that’s primarily responsible for the effects of marijuana on a person’s mental state. Some cannabis plants contain very little THC. Under U.S. law, these plants are considered “industrial hemp” rather than marijuana.
Cannabinoids
Cannabinoids are a group of substances found in the cannabis plant. The main cannabinoids are THC and cannabidiol. Besides THC and cannabidiol, more than 100 other cannabinoids have been identified.
Medical Cannabis Evaluations
At Reichbach Center, we are a fully equipped medical office committed to providing compassionate and quality care to patients, especially those who have not found substantial relief from traditional modes of therapy. As such, we offer comprehensive medical cannabis consultations and certifications for eligible patients seeking to legally purchase and use the medicine under our ordering physician, Dr. Reichbach. Understanding the Missouri Medical Marijuana Card Process is an essential part of our services, as we guide patients through the necessary steps to obtain their card and access the benefits of medical marijuana.
Patients will be seen by Dr. Steven Reichbach, an ordering physician certified by the State of Florida’s Office of Medical Marijuana Use. Dr. Reichbach is qualified to evaluate patients for the program and order low-THC and/or medical cannabis. Any approved patients will be assisted with completing the Registration Identification Application required to obtain their Registry ID Card to purchase the medicine from a medical marijuana treatment center (dispensary).
Dr. Reichbach is a board-certified anesthesiologist with over 25 years of experience in treating patients who require pain management due to their chronic and/or debilitating medical conditions. Dr. Reichbach is excited to be a certifying physician and order low-THC and/or medical cannabis as a natural, therapeutic alternative for patients who would benefit from its appropriate use.
Dr. Reichbach is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists (FSA), and the American Medical Association (AMA).

In 2015, Dr. Reichbach moved to Sarasota and served at Sarasota Ambulatory Surgery Center, providing anesthesia for patients undergoing various nerve block procedures.
Dr. Reichbach has worked with ketamine for more than two decades in general anesthesiology. He became an advocate of intravenous (IV) ketamine infusions after observing the relief patients experienced with treatments and reviewing the growing body of research over the past decade supporting its efficiency. These ongoing studies and successful results have inspired Dr. Reichbach to utilize ketamine as a viable and effective treatment for severe depression and neuropathic pain disorders.
He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists (FSA), and the American Medical Association (AMA).
